I am trying to achieve my word/promise to certify forumselam members who wants to gaining level to be PADI Advanced OW Diver for free training (conducted at UK trip 7-8 Dec' 08)

Although this is a free training, it will be still following the general guidelines as outline in the Adventures In Diving program instructor guide, thus all the participant must meet or achieved the following pre-requisites ;

Certification requirement :
Be certified as a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization. (This is defined as proof of an entry level scuba certification with a minimum of four open water training dives.)

Equipment requirement :
During open water training, you must be equipped with a mask, fins, norkel, appropriate exposure protection, dive knife/tool, scuba tank, buoyancy control device with low-pressure inflator, weight system, regulator, alternate air source, submersible pressure gauge, depth gauge, timing device and/or dive computer, compass, at least one audible emergency surface signaling device and Recreational Dive Planner (table, eRDP or The Wheel).

For the Night Dive, student divers must each have an underwater light and whistle.

Knowledge Requirement :
Student divers must complete the appropriate Knowledge Review before receive credit for an Adventure Dive.

Others :
1. Have your logbook
2. Have your PIC (Positive Identification Card) for your certification process
3. Have your passport photo 4x6 (head shoulder) for your card
4. Student require material

Else : Please provide your email address

@guswid ;
Iya, free traing ampe dapet lisence AOW, but PIC nya di siapkan sendiri beserta bukunya.. (student material, harga dll, bisa di PM saja).. tapi training ini saat kita di UK bukan di Bali..,
(This is my promise a year ago, whenever I am in Jakarta for diving)

@blue bee ;
No, worry that is not really a problem, night or tool (u can use tool), dive con and/or timing device (any kind of timing device, not necessary a dive com).

yes, for the license (in this case PIC) you may get it from Aquasport Jakarta, if facing any problem to have, you may ask me.. I will try to manage for it.
please send PM to be for a solution..

Well, shall I registered for you for take a part ? pls advice
(So I can prepare a solution for this, specially for student diver material)

hehe, iya tuh, tapi kalau mau di Bali saat Menjangan menjangan aja 28-29 Dec, Tulamben plus Menjangan, kan bisa gabung dengan jpndive, ikut trip, pulang bawa AOW, gimana ? biar adil..

Atau 3 dives di Sanur termasuk nightdive anytime, terus tgl 29 nya gabung gabung trip Menjangan, kan nggak perlu nginep... gimana ayoo ?
