BALI UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP, 8-11 July 2010

Spend 3 nights and 5 dives at beautiful Tulamben Bali and improve your underwater photography skills!

A combination of fun and effective tutorial sessions off and underwater, taking place in a very relaxing ambient of Mimpi Resort Tulamben. The speaker, Chris Simanjuntak, will be tutoring both on land and in the water with you, giving on-hand instruction and instant correction needed. You are expected to gain significant knowledge improvement on underwater photography at the end of the workshop.

Day 1 (Thursday) :
Arrival Denpasar, transfer to Mimpi Resort leaves at 19.00PM from airport
For participant arriving earlier this day and not wanting to wait at the airport, we can meet you at McDonald Sanur at 19.30PM and take you to Tulamben.

For participant arriving later than 20.00PM, you may have to arrange your own transport to Tulamben, one car for 4 passengers is at IDR Rp 500.000/car/one way.

Day 2 (Friday) :
2 (two) tutorial sessions on Underwater Camera Setting, Angle of Shooting and Composition, combined with 2 (two) dives

Day 3 (Saturday) :
2 (two) tutorial sessions on Lighting and Image Editing, combined with 3 (three) dives

Day 4 (Sunday) :
Check out Mimpi Resort at 13.00, transfer to Airport

Price IDR 2.700.000 per person, includes :
- Twin-share accomodation in Patio Room Mimpi Resort Tulamben for 3 nights (room with AC and Hot Water Shower)
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner
- 5 guided dives, tanks and weights
- Return transfer DPS Airport – Mimpi Resort at scheduled time (please read itinerary for departure time of transport)
- Workshop fee

Not included in the price package :
- Additional transport outside the scheduled time
- Personal expenses on matters which are not included in the package

Workshop will be conducted with a minimum of 6 participants to a maximum of 12 participants. To participate, you must :
- Be an Open Water Diver or higher qualification certified diver with minimum 20 logged dives (please bring your certification card and log book)
- Posses good buoyancy skill (consider taking Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty Course prior to this event)
- Practice good responsible behaviour towards marine life and other divers, and follow the conservative safe diving guidelines established by your dive guides
- Own a digital camera and underwater housing. External strobe and strobe arms are highly recommended in order to get maximum result. You may consult me before purchase these items.
- It is recommended to bring along your laptop computer for more effective result, with a photo editing software installed (Adobe Photoshop recommended)
- Place a down payment IDR 1.000.000 to secure a space by the latest 26 Juni 2010 to BCA, account number 219 112 6876 (R A Christoffel), please notify me via email when transfer is done.
- Settle full payment by the latest 3 July 2010
