Kalau ga ada yg tanya..sekarang gantian gw yang tanya...

Kalo bertahan di arus gimana sih??waktu itu diving ama mola2 yg dive pertama di tanjung bajo itu kan ada arus kira2 1/2 - 3/4knot kalo ga salah..gw liat mola2 santai aja tuh ga usah kick terlalu banyak untuk bertahan di arus...gimana tuh mol??ga pake reef hook kan??hehehe...atau porsi badan menunjang banget??hehehe..mentang2 mola2 gede..haha

hahaha, that is the skill man...
Gw kagak pake reef hook or anything,.. just gliding, swim slowly like a manta... PPB Specialty kali ya...

Sempat juga elu perhatiin... gw juga udah sadar kok...pertanyaan ini akan muncul... kenapa nggak ditanya waktu itu ya..? Padahal gw tunggu tuh pertanyaan itu... saat naik ke kapal...hehehhe.

Itu sih teknik biasa yang umum dilakukan diver, Module 3 nih Open water, tentang Ocean Current...
Arus umumnya lebih lemah dekat bottom ketimbang di tengah melayang, itu kenapa gw bisa santai, gw nggak merasakan kalau gw berenang melawan arus tuh..
Countour dasar laut mempengaruhi kecepatan arus dan character arus.
Ini harusntya Oceanographer yang jawab karena dia mempelajari lebih detail..

Yang jelas, nempel aja ke dasar, arusnya lebih lemah, walaupun itu belum tentu selalu bisa.

Porsi badan ? ya sangat menunjang, bukan karena gede, semakin gede resistensi nya khan semakin besar.
Kalau kurus itu sangat membantu,.. slim gitu lhoo.. lebih streamline
itu baru menunjang, kalau yang gede, malah gampang di dorong arus karena permukaan yang lebar..

wah kena sebut ni...

tapi bener kata mas mola, pada morfologi dasar perairan pada umumnya, kekuatan arus cenderung melemah saat mendekati dasar, bahkan arus permukaan yang disebabkan angin biasanya bernilai nol sebelum sampe ke dasar..

nah biasanya nilai nol ini terjadi cuma di lapisan tipis suatu kedalaman, nah selanjutnya ada arus lagi, bahkan bisa berlawanan arah..

kalo ada bentuk morfologi khusus, kaya tubir n gundukan terumbu karang, arusnya bakal lebih kompleks lagi, biasanya karena pengaruh turbulensi dan pengaruh gesekan dasar.

nah kalo menurut cerita diatas,

mas mola kemungkinan dapet daerah layer yang kecepatannya minimum itu.. kalo mas moderator kena imbas dari turbulensi akibat morfologi dasar..

Diatas bukan berarti lebih jauh dari dasar khan ?,, disitu khan countur dasar lautnya landai, nah elu ada dibawah gw karena memang berada lebih dalam mengikuti slope, bukan berarti lebih dekat dengan dasar.. gitu kali pak moderator.

Tu,, oceanographer udah angkat bicara tuh, penjelasannya betul, kalau Nusa Penida tuh, seperti apa yang di jelaskan oceanographer tuh, arus dasar kadang sering berbeda dengan arus dipermukaan, maupun ditengah. Lalu Komposisi terumbu karang, itu juga mempengaruhi, dimana bisa terjadi apa yang disebut tadi (turbulensi itu), malahan kita kadang tak bisa bergerak, baik maju maupun mundur.

Wah.. thank mas oceanographer penjelasannya, sip deh..

pada dasarnya.. hampir ga mungkin bisa nemu pada kondisi perairan berarus.

nol itu kan secara teori menurut hukum kontinuitas, keyataan di alam.. wallahu alam.. mungkin nol itu hanya akan dialami oleh satu lapisan partikel air..

bayangin aja di permukaan dan di dasar ada perbedaan arah arus, berarti kalo kita tinjau kedalaman (z) di koordinat tertentu (x,y), pasti akan ketemu kecepatan nol..

nah masalahnya kecepatan nol akan berbeda2 kedalamannya (z) untuk tinjauan titik (x,y) yang berbeda pula...

jadi kalo di deket mata kita dapet kecepatan nol, di idung udah ga nol lagi.. jadi tetep aja kebawa arus..

How to get the experince ? We will talk it on the next chapter on upcoming class session....hahha

wahhh... g baru paham secara teoritisnya nih... kenapa dulu waktu di SD Point kalo nggak berasa bloon susah ngatur bouyancy, ya ngebut ala superman kaya Ju... yg blom ketauan, gmn cara nemu "gigi 1" di SD Point nih... (tp enak sih, enggak usah capek kebanyakan nendang, hehee).
